Week 9 and 10 of Term 2

K AY A, Can you believe we have only one week left of term 2? Then we will be halfway through the year. 😵 I cannot believe it!  It has been a very busy two weeks. Full of dance concerts, cross country and unfortunately the flu! Over the last week the flu has taken hold of 6H and 6M. I really hope everyone is feeling a lot better for the last week of school and are ready to come back to class.  Well done to all the students who took part in OLC Cross Country, it was a great day and the rain stayed away until the end, what more could we ask for? Well done to all our winners and to everyone who showed resilience and determination and tried their best! I was so proud of all the Year 6 students that took part on the day.  Well done to Mrs Haines, on another very successful dance show! Week 7 and 8 of Term 2

  K AY A, Wow, I cannot believe that we are heading into week 8, already! It was a very busy two weeks as you can see from the jam packed blog below, well done to the Year 5 and 6 students for their exceptional resilience, teamwork and effort that they put into Winter Carnival this week.  I spent the day with the netball team and I was so proud of how they all played.  A massive shout out to all the parents that came along and coached a team or cheered the teams on. Below is a picture of the footy team. Well done Boys!  Red Cross Incursion: Last week, the Year 6 students had Red Cross visit for an in school incursion. It was a brilliant learning experience and I am sure every student learned something new. There was some confronting issues discussed as well as some truthful and harsh facts about the struggles refugees and asylum seekers face.
