Hello from Rhavi and Cam - Week 6 learning Term 2

Happy Birthday Cam who celebrated his 11th Birthday on Thursday, and Happy Birthday in advance to Ari who’s birthday is coming up on the 30th of May. To all the parents reading this blog, we hope you’ve had a lovely and rejuvenating week. We are also currently still in the season of Djeran which is the season in which cooler weather begins, it is also known as the season of adulthood. It is almost at its end slowly fading into Makuru, the coldest and wettest time of the year, more frequent gales and storms. Hello from Ellie & Sian - Week 5 learning Term 2

As the weather begins to get colder we are all reminded that Dijeran is almost at its end, and we will be plunging into the cold months of Makuru. We have had a busy week so hold tight to your seat-belt.  Did you know that Miss Hurst favourite animal is a sloth? 🦥 A massive well done and congratulations to Holly Greening, who came 4th this weekend in two different showjumping classes (15 years and under) at the State Jumping Championships. 🏇🐎 ⭐⭐ Star Citizen Award ⭐⭐ Well done to Ellie Richardson for receiving our 6H Star Citizen for Appreciation for Term 2.  Ellie continually demonstrate manners, words and actions that show gratitude to others in our community. She is a true leader in our school when it comes to appreciation including the adults around her

  Kaya ,  Before I hand the blog over to our fabulous bloggers this week I wanted to share a proud teacher moment. How wonderful were the students on Friday at their final performance assembly? Well done to all the students of both 6R and 6H, you were wonderful and so very funny, I was so proud! 💓  AS PROMISED I'M HANDING YOU NOW OVER TO THE STUDENTS...  The rest of this blog has been expertly created by Nina Hutton and Myla Fursdon and I am sure you will agree that they have done a wonderful job.  Wadandi boodja, wadan boonar moort Kaaditjin wongi, nitcha Wadandi noongar boodja. This week we had our awesome assembly! The students all worked flat out so they could perform it the best they possibly could, and it paid off. 💚👏 Djeran (April – May): Many flying ants can be seen cruising around in the light winds. Djeran is a time of red flowers, especially from the red flowering gum (Corymbiaficifolia), as well as the smaller and more petite of the summer flame (beaufortia aestiva).
