Week 10 Learning and Information

K AY A, Can you believe that we have reached the end of term 2? Wow - wee!!! Well done to all the students of 6H! You did it! We have a very busy week ahead of us.  Unfortunately, the week ended with sad but fond farewell to one of our amazing 6H leaders. Elliott Birch has left OLC and we all wish him the best of luck in his next school, we know he will do wonderfully. Remember, Elliott to continue to show Compassion to all you meet, Appreciate all those people and things around you, Respect yourself and everyone you meet and put your best Excellent effort into all you do! Week 9 Learning and Information

   K AY A, Well done to all the students who participated in the OLC Cross Country. I was passed on some beautiful feedback from the other teachers on how helpful and respectful the Year 6 students were on the day. Well done team to all our winners and to the leaders! I cannot believe we are almost at the end of Term 2, with only two weeks left we are looking at finishing off some projects and having a great end to a very busy term. Please note - The OLC dance crew students will need to wear their sport uniform tomorrow as there will be one extra practice for them in the morning with the wonderful Ellie Haines.  Vinnie's Winter Appeal  Thank you to all those people that donated to the Vinnie's Winter Appeal, well done to the Year 6 leaders that ensured that this wonderful intiative was carried out in OLC. There was a full Ute load of rugs, blankets, jackets, jumpers, and scarfs going to those in need this winter! Well done guys, Making Jesus Real!  Important Homework  Please no

  K AY A, We all had a wonderful day in Bunbury at the Winter Sport Carnival. Well done to the wonderful Mrs Sinclair who organised the entire day for the students. A massive thank you to those parents that donated their time and energy to coach a team on the day. The students had a lot of fun, were respectful to all and showcased the OLC school values all day. Despite the weather it was a great day for everyone.  Year 6 Camp  I hope you received the letter for the Year 6 camp from your child this week. Can you please ensure that you read the entire letter and fill in all necessary detail including medicines, dietary requirements and any sleep support and return it by the end of the week.  If you have any questions with the letter please do not hesitate to reach out.  Camp Homework: Please ensure your child completes the camp task homework on seesaw. K AY A, I hope you guys had a wonderful long weekend, how beautiful was the weather?  In celebration of  National  Reconciliation   Week we created our own 6H Caring For Country class pledge. The students came up with some beautiful statements for inclusion. We have also started exploring and researching our 6H class totems - The native numbat (Noombat) and the native cherry (Juck). The students are busy creating their information reports and art projects on these class totems.  Year 6 Camp  I hope you received the letter for the Year 6 camp from your child this week. Can you please ensure that you read the entire letter and fill in all necessary detail including medicines, dietary requirements and any sleep support, etc.  If you have any questions with the letter please do not hesitate to reach out.  Camp Homework: Last week the students began their camp homework on seesaw. Please ensure your child completes these tasks each week. There are still students who have not completed last w
