Term 4 - Week 4

K a y a, 2 weeks down - 6 to go, can you believe it?   What a jam packed week we have had, from Journey Sticks, dancing, swimming trials and grandparents day! I cannot believe we are on the countdown with only 6 weeks left to go. We have another busy week ahead with testing and the swimming carnival on Friday.  Thank you so much to all the grandparents that visited our 6H family on Friday, it was a pleasure to welcome you to our classroom. It was so lovely to watch the students show you their work with pride! Well done to 5R for kicking off the prayer and performance assemblies, it was a beautiful assembly and it was wonderful watching the students dance and sing in celebration of their grandparents. 💓 ⭐ Merit Award ⭐ Well done to Emerson Hughes for receiving this weeks merit award. Term 4 - Week 3

K a y a, 2 weeks down - 7 to go, can you believe it?   This week the students were truly wonderful at Church on Wednesday, it was our first time back in the Church celebrating with the parishioners and the students were wonderful leaders. This week in class we finished working with the order of operations in math and are now moving on to algebra. Do you remember looking for what x and y. We are also continuing with angles in measurement. You will notice your child will have some angles homework this week. We finally completed our class novel "Rabbit Solider Angel Thief. What an amazing novel! You will see an awesome piece of artwork soon from your child related to this artwork on seesaw.  We have a very busy week ahead of us with swimming trials, cultural incursions and PAT testing.  ⭐ Merit Award ⭐ Well done to Emma Rechichi for receiving this weeks merit award. Term 4 - Week 2

  K a y a, 1 week down - 7 to go, can you believe it?   What a busy first week back to school we have had. We have worked on BEDMAS and angles in math. We have continued reading the awesome novel, Rabbit Solider Angel Thief. We have started working on proceedures and focused on practicing the structure. And started our plans for high school in health. Not to mention that we had our first assembly back as a whole school. Well done to our leadership team, who had their first speaking roles. Over the next few weeks, you will see lots of awesome seesaw posts of our awesome work. Term 4 - Week 1

  K a y a, Can you believe that we have finally made it to Term 4?  I am just so proud of all the students in 6H and I am so excited to see what Term 4 will bring for them all. 6H has become a small family and I missed all of the students whilst they were on holidays. My plan for Term 4 is to prepare them as much as possible for high school, whilst enjoying their last few months at Our Lady of the Cape. I hope you have all enjoyed every minute of your holiday and managed to have time with friends, family and lots of fun. I got to spend some awesome time with friends and got some quality skyping time with my family and friends back home.
