We did it! We made it to the end of semester 1! How awesome was the dance concert? Well done to Ellie Haines and Jane King for organising the amazing Pop Rock, OLC Band and the Dancing superstars! What talent we have at our school. 





Farewell to Mr Lee for Term 3 and 4 - your smiling face will be very missed around the school. Thank you for Making Jesus Real everyday and showing us what an amazing leader looks like, sounds like and feels like to be around! We are very lucky to have you and we wish you safe travels for your time away! 


Well done to the students who planted 1,100 trees in Ludlow Forest on Thursday morning. God blessed us with beautiful weather and it was a wonderful day spent out of the classroom helping in our community. Well done to the amazing group of volunteers from the Ludlow Forest Restoration Group who have spent two weeks planting Tuart trees so that they do not disappear. Taking a drive to Ludlow to let your child show you their work could be a fun family day out! Thank you to our two awesome parent helpers - Lana Halloran and Jessamy Bennett. 🌲🌳🌲🌳




Year 6 Camp

Please refer to the camp packing list for preparing your child for camp over the holidays. We will be departing in the second week of Term 3. The cost for camp is now due to the office. 

I hope you have a wonderful two weeks with your children, I hope the time is filled with fun, laughter and memories! 
I look forward to hearing all about it when we return to school. 
For now, I am off to my motherland to fill my cup with some awesome family time and lots of laughs! 💚☘

K AY A, I hope you have all had a tremendous break with this cracker sunshine. 🌞 I cannot wait to see the 6H family back in the classroom for an AWESOME term 4! We are going to end their time at OLC with smiles, busy times, Confirmation, Graduation, Excursions, Incursions and lots of learning! So, without further ado, let's get into it!  How awesome were the costumes for book week? Peace Poster: The results of the peace poster competition will be announced at a small assembly on Friday the 13th. (Just the Year 6 students will be in attendance). If your child is a winner, we will contact you early week 1, so that you can arrange someone to attend.  CONFIRMATION PREPARATION Our Confirmation Mass is set to take place on  Saturday the 28th of October at 6pm at Our Lady of the Southern Cross Parish . Week 7 and 8 of Term 4

K AY A, Can you believe that there is only 15 days left in Primary School for your child? WOW! Not only that but most of these days will include end of year excursion, practice at the Church and in the hall for Graduation and lots of end of year preparations!  Year 6 End of Year Gift  A massive thank you to the three wonderful parents who came along on Wednesday in week 6 to complete the end of year 6 gift artwork. The students did a really wonderful job on their own individual paver, which together will make up the OLC Reconciliation Pathway to the Aboriginal area at the back of the school. What an amazing legacy to leave behind - so watch this space! Well done team! Graduation Practice and Year 6 Busy Bee  Graduation Practice will start down at the Church in week 7 and 8. The students are allowed to wear their sport uniform on these days. This will be a strong focus for the next few weeks. Important Camp Reminders and Important Information

  K AY A, Can you believe that it is only  5  sleeps until we depart for Year 6 camp??? The students are going to have the most amazing time; we will be taking part in activities like wall climbing, zip-lining, abseiling and team games as well as lots of fun group activities.  Please remember we will depart OLC at 8.40 on Monday morning. Your student will need to arrive around 8.15am and place their bags for camp outside the hall in front of the double doors. They will then make their way to the classroom for the class role. Students will need to ensure they have used the bathroom as the bus is a two hour drive. They will also need to take out any medical items from their bag and provide this to the teacher in a clear zip lock bag with their name on it.  We hope the students have started to prepare their bags for camp using the camp what to bring list below.
