Week 1 and 2 Term 3

 KAYA,

And just like that, we are back! Can you believe we are at the halfway mark? I hope you had the most wonderful break with your awesome children, I cannot wait to hear their stories.
We have a busy term ahead of us with camp, OLC's Got Talent and Athletics Carnivals.
In 6H, we are also taking back the school ministry jobs for this term so we will be very busy. Your child may also have a speaking role in the weekly assemblies so watch this space!
I feel very lucky to have seen my family during the holidays and have spent some time in the very green emerald island of Ireland. You may hear a slight twang back in my accent. 😂
I look forward to sharing some stories with the students when they return.💚

6H Numbat Guest Speaker Talk

As you are probably aware from your child's fabulous writing Information Report viewed on seesaw, our class totem is the awesome Numbat. On Thursday, 6H will be very lucky to get to welcome Jo Drew from Project Numbat who will be volunteering her time to visit us and tell us all about our amazing class totem.

Project Numbat promotes community awareness of the numbat and is involved in numbat conservation by assisting the Numbat Recovery Program objectives including: habitat management, population monitoring, feral predator control, education and awareness programs, fundraising for numbat conservation.

If you would like to find out more about what the awesome  Project Numbat does or to donate to their not for profit charity you can visit their website. http://www.numbat.org.au/
