 Kaya,

Strap in guys, we have a busy three weeks ahead!!!!!

Merit Award
Well done to Xavier Armstrong for receiving this weeks merit award. This is for the development and dedication to your leadership role this year. Xavier, you enter every day at school with envious energy and an incredible zest for life. Xavier, you display excellence when the task taps into your deep creativity and imagination. A perfect example of this excellence is listening to your creative, hilarious, and imaginative poetry this term. Well done Xavier.

Graduation Practice and Year 6 Busy Bee
On this upcoming Friday, the Year 6 students will be very busy! We have our first graduation practice on Friday at the church. We will then help out some of the parish community with a busy bee around the garden of the church. The students will need to wear their sport uniform, have a hat, wear suncream and bring a packed recess and lunch and water.

MacKillop and Grammar Orientation
This week the students who will be attending both Bunbury Grammar and MacKillop next year will be attending their orientation day. Bunbury Grammar students will be attending on Monday, and the students attending MacKillop have their orientation on Thursday. I am so excited to hear all about it and hear how enthusiastic the students will feel about next year, after spending a day at their new school.

Math Club
A massive well done to all the students who attended Math Club this year on Wednesday afternoon. You are to be commended for your dedication and resilience to your learning and development in Math. You should be very proud!
Secret Santa - Year 6
The students have requested to do a Secret Santa across Year 6. This will be a student led initiative in the Year 6 Classroom for the students to purchase one small gift for a designated classmate. The students agreed on $10 as the max amount of money that could be spent, the suggestions were a chocolate bar, Christmas stocking, bouncy ball or craft items. Can you please ensure that you child brings their gift no later than Wednesday of week 9.

We have a collection box in 6H and you are invited to contribute specified items. Please give generously to support others in what can be a difficult time of the year. Thank you.

Leaver's Shirt
Due to an overprint, we have 10 remaining leavers shirts from the printers that are available for purchase, we are happy to sell these for a cost of $10. These shirts could be kept as a keepsake or they could be used as a shirt to sign on the last day of school. It will be first in best dressed as to their availability.

Red Wednesday πŸŸ₯πŸŸ₯πŸŸ₯
The Bishop has asked for schools to recognise and pray for people of all faiths who are persecuted for their beliefs. The students can wear something red on Wednesday.
